so yesterday i spend most of the evening writing my research paper, fixing citations, proofreading, and redoing my reference list and outline. i manage to pass the minimum word count and get everything together by 9.45pm and i'm just so proud of myself. i decide that i'm not gonna staple it because i'm not sure how much i'm supposed to attach and i'll just wait until i get to school.

i get to class this morning and find out that i left my entire fucking paper at home.

i seriously felt like crying. the only thing keeping me from totally losing it was the fact that i have a day late pass. but laksjflasjd i worked my ass off to have that paper done on time and still couldn't fucking manage. and on top of that, i forgot to do my chapter assessment for french and left my book at home. and i didn't finish my precal homework. AND i still have chemistry and another (smaller) paper to turn in tomorrow. maybe this is to balance out the really good grades i've been getting lately. _A_

for this little bonding thing we did in class, we learned to make boxes out of scrapbook paper and omfg they're so cute. ;~;

this is my second box. the first boxes we made we filled with "little treasures" that we all brought to represent ourselves. i brought... smiley face stickers because i couldn't find any stickers shaped like music notes or pandas. :( one guy took apart his first rubix cube and brought the pieces. how sweet/nerdy was that? :')

i'm thinking of applying as a reviewer at haseon_x3. considering that i still have time on the weekends and it would be fun to do, i feel like it's a good idea, but writing reviews makes me irrationally nervous. ;-; then again, i pulled a ~700 word review of Memoirs of a Geisha out of my ass in 45 minutes last year for my english class, so maybe this is my calling. :'D yay, i was accepted. \:D/

i followed up on my idea of dl'ing ten random albums (or rather, nine; The Journey of Cultivating a Potato Field doesn't quite count since i already knew that i loved rain tear) and omg i found some nice bands. beat crusaders probably did the least for me, i had higher expectations for 9mm parabellum bullet but idk why, rip slyme's songs are catchy, snowkel is nothing special but i still like them, soko is psycho but relatable, yelle is weird but kind of cool, ogre you asshole is a group i'd have to pay more attention to, we got underwear and girls has one of the first albums in a while that i've listened all the way through and liked, and bluebeard is aljflsdjfljldsf amazing why did they break up. :( i was pretty japan biased and hit up almost thrashed several times, but whatever.

and because this is killing me,

why are shinee wearing my favorite brand names on their underweeeeeaar. it's like subtle advertising and i really need to stop buying clothes as it is. _A_

honestly, listening to Uroboros the first time was like hearing white noise for a really long time. you know, like you notice it at first but eventually you're not even aware of it until someone calls your attention to it. i mean, i couldn't even get through all of vinushka because it was so... just there. and long as shit.

and now i love this album sfm. it doesn't leave me all 'alkjfdsdfhl. *_________*' like Sentimental Macchiato, but i'm not sure anything could live up to that for me (not even hikari to tell the truth). the longer version of dozing green? unf, loving it. kyo might sound like a whale/he's phoning home during acapella, but i'll be damned if i don't love his screaming and growling. i feel like i'd really like inconvenient deal if i'd, you know, actually sit and really listen to it, and vinushka sounds so bitter and angry and dark that it's just. idek. it's really a shame that i had to completely forget about the dir en grey fandom to focus on the music. everyone going 'deg is falling off! dozing green/uroboros is so boring~ they're so americanized' was a serious downer. ;;;; people totally ate up obscure (which i hate like nobody's business), but nobody likes their mellow-er stuff. what is this. ;___;

so i read through a little of the wank about mc mong's indian boy before going to sleep and...

sometime during the morning i had this really, really fucked up dream. ;; i looked out into the backyard and there was this guy sitting in the bushes by the fence that separates our yard and someone else's yard. idk if i thought it would scare him or what, but i banged on the glass door and he gets up and starts to run away but then comes closer. i keep banging on windows while he walks around the outside of the house and when he doesn't go away i yell 'INDIAN BOY!' and he like, froths at the mouth and shit, and things go Horribly Wrong. he brings out a bow and arrow, runs around to the front yard, and stands at the edge of the woods and starts aiming at the house. my mom is outside cleaning the screen door and he shoots at her and she falls. i flip shit and pull her inside and try to get my dad to help but he won't take it seriously. so i call the police and the operators are the worst operators in existance because i can't even hear the first guy and the second lady who gets the phone is like 'oh, that sucks.' my brother cracks some retarded, nonfunny joke that's a play off the whole gay fish thing and idek. then the guy runs up the steps, shoots our (metal) door, and the arrow goes through it. blah blah blah, he finds a ladder and starts trying to break through my window with a tomahawk.

the whole time i'm saying stuff like, 'but i like native americans! our school mascot is a warrior!' and the whole dream was in third person. in fact, it might not have even been me since i never got to see anything other than the back of my head.

i finally got my ap score back. i'm totally waiting for them to send another letter saying they screwed up grading mine and that i didn't really get a five because i was 102% positive that if i passed it would only be with like, a three. i'm really glad to know that all that stressing (not to mention the cold i caught a day after the test. _A_) wasn't for nothing.

i got my new morning schedule, too. i hate that they send them out in the middle of july because the minute i look at my schedule (even if i get the two halves at different times this year) i feel my summer pretty much die off. it's like i'm starting a new school all over again since i have to spend half my day uptown in a building i don't even think i've ever seen. i really, really hope one of the five other people from my school has the same classes as me so i can cling to them the whole time. i'll be so lost on my own. orz

after having a samsung phone for the past year i vowed that i wouldn't get another no matter how pretty because the battery life (while it could be worse) is pretty sucky. then i saw the samsung magnet and to hell with vows. D: i was torn between the magnet, lg neon, and the quickfire and i don't think i've ever been so indecisive, ever. my arguments:

quickfire: it has a touchscreen, it's a slider, and it comes in a pretty shade of orange. BUT i heard the touchscreen can be a little screwy and it's kind of ugly tbh.
neon: it has a touchscreen, it's also a slider, and it has really pretty buttons ~~DON'T JUDGE ME, OKAY~~. on the down side it looks almost just like the rumor/rant and it only comes in green which is completely unacceptable. :(
magnet: it's pretty, it doesn't have the problems that touchscreens have, it's free if i order it online, and above all else, it's orange. cons: its battery life is on the lower end of the spectrum and it doesn't slide. boo. that, and it looks like every other smartphone/blackjack/whathaveyou.
